Photo & Media Release

This release describes how Cutie P.A.W.S. may use photographs, video, audio, testimonials, artwork, and other media created or submitted in connection with our programs and events.

1. Consent

When you sign or affirm a media release, submit media for publication, or knowingly participate in an identified photo or recording opportunity, you authorize Cutie P.A.W.S. to use media that includes you, your voice, your submitted work, or an animal in your care, subject to any written restrictions we accept.

2. Permitted Uses

Website and social media
Fundraising and donor communications
Print and digital outreach
Educational materials
Grant and partner reporting
Public-awareness and organizational communications

3. Rights Granted

You retain ownership of media you created. You grant Cutie P.A.W.S. a nonexclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to reproduce, display, adapt, crop, caption, and distribute authorized media for nonprofit organizational purposes. Unless separately agreed in writing, no compensation is owed for authorized use.

4. Opting Out or Limiting Use

Before a planned activity, tell the event or program lead if you do not wish to be photographed or recorded. For previously authorized media, email info@cutiepawsnv.org with your name, a description or link identifying the media, and the restriction requested. We will make reasonable efforts to stop future uses within our control.

A request may not remove material already printed, distributed, archived, lawfully used, or published by third parties.
Incidental appearance in wide shots of public events may not always be avoidable.

5. Minors

A parent or legal guardian must provide documented authorization before we intentionally feature an identifiable minor in organizational media. Event-wide crowd images may be handled under event-specific notice and consent procedures.

6. Withdrawal and Contact

Withdrawal applies to future uses within our reasonable control and does not invalidate prior authorized use. Questions or requests may be sent to Cutie P.A.W.S., Carson City, Nevada, at info@cutiepawsnv.org.
