Pancake is a 6-month-old neutered orange tabby who combines gentle sweetness with endearing awkward charm. Named by kids who lovingly teased that he “looks dumber than a pancake,” he has since proven himself to be anything but. With his tiny stomp when he walks and his slightly unconventional sitting posture, Pancake has a personality that is impossible not to love.

He came to us through our TNRh (Trap. Neuter. Rehabilitate. Heal.) program and quickly showed that he was meant to be an indoor companion. While he may be a bit timid if approached quickly with hands extended, once he understands you’re safe, he bonds deeply and becomes an incredibly loyal, affectionate presence in the home. His loud, content purr is a constant reminder of how grateful he is to be loved.

Pancake does well with dogs, other cats, and children, making him a wonderful candidate for a variety of family environments. He thrives on companionship and enjoys “helping” with daily activities — whether that means supervising chores or simply sitting nearby.
