• TNRh (Trap, Neuter, Rehabilitate)

• Rescue and rehabilitation

• Lifelong sanctuary (“Our Purrmanents”)

• Foster-based adoption

• Emergency boarding programs

• Rural outreach and community support

 

3. Website Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for unlawful activities

• Post or transmit harmful or misleading content

• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems

• Interfere with Site functionality

• Use the Site to harass or harm others

We may suspend or terminate access at our discretion.

10.1 General Donations

If a donor restricts a gift to a specific program, we will make reasonable efforts to honor the designation.
If a program becomes:

• Overfunded

• Unavailable

• No longer aligned with operational needs

we may reallocate funds to a similar mission area.

 

10.3 Donor Privacy

We do not sell, trade, or share donor information.
Donors may request:

• Anonymity

• Communication preferences

• Recognition preferences

 

10.4 Payment Processing

Donations are processed through secure third-party platforms.
Cutie P.A.W.S. does not store full payment card information.

 

11. Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs)

Cutie P.A.W.S. accepts grants from major DAF providers including Fidelity, Schwab, Vanguard, NPT, AEF, and others.

By recommending a DAF grant, you acknowledge:

• The sponsoring organization retains legal control over the funds

• You will not receive goods or services in return

• DAF grants cannot be used for:

  • Event tickets

  • Raffle entries

  • Auction purchases

  • Adoption fees

  • Benefits with personal value

This is required under IRS regulations.

 

12. Charitable Lead Trusts (CLTs)

Cutie P.A.W.S. accepts distributions from CLTs. By initiating or modifying a CLT gift:

• You acknowledge your responsibility to comply with IRS rules

• You understand no legal or tax advice is provided by Cutie P.A.W.S.

• CLT payments will be applied to general support unless formally restricted and accepted

Consult a qualified attorney or advisor for CLT matters.

 

13. Adoption Terms

13.1 Application Process

Submitting an adoption application does not guarantee approval.
We reserve the right to deny any application for reasons related to animal welfare or program policies.

 

13.2 Fees

Adoption fees:

• Are nonrefundable

• Must be paid in full prior to adoption

• Help cover veterinary and care costs

 

13.3 Health & Behavior

Cutie P.A.W.S. discloses known medical and behavioral history when possible, but:

• Prior histories may be incomplete

• We cannot guarantee long-term health or behavior

 

13.4 Care Requirements

Adopters agree to:

• Provide safe indoor housing (unless otherwise approved)

• Maintain veterinary care

• Refrain from declawing

• Contact us if unable to keep the cat

Cats must be returned to Cutie P.A.W.S. rather than surrendered elsewhere.

 

13.5 Right to Reclaim

We may reclaim an adopted cat if:

• Information was falsified

• The cat is in danger

• The adoption agreement is violated

 

14. Fostering, Volunteering & Program Participation

14.1 Applications

Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.

 

14.2 Requirements

Participants agree to:

• Follow sanctuary rules

• Provide truthful information

• Maintain safe environments

• Communicate promptly regarding concerns

 

14.3 Removal

We may deny, suspend, or end participation in any program for safety, compliance, or animal-welfare reasons.

 

15. Emergency Boarding

15.1 Temporary Care Only

Emergency boarding provides temporary safe care for cats during:

• Hospitalization

• Evacuation

• Domestic violence situations

• Mental health crises

• Incarceration

• Housing emergencies

We do not assume ownership during the boarding period.

15.2 Fees

Fees may apply depending on program funding and duration.

 

15.3 Retrieval

Owners must retrieve their cat once the crisis period ends.

Unclaimed cats may legally become the property of Cutie P.A.W.S. after the holding period required under Nevada law.

 

16. Liability & Disclaimers

16.1 No Warranty

This Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

 

16.2 Limitation of Liability

Cutie P.A.W.S. is not liable for:

• Data loss

• Site outages

• Errors or omissions

• Third-party platform issues

• Injuries or losses arising from program participation

• Indirect or consequential damages

 

16.3 Indemnification
