When someone needs help keeping their cat safe, we provide temporary sanctuary until they get back on their feet.
Because no one should lose their companion due to crisis.
This is the heart of our mission.
We focus on humane trap–neuter programs across rural Nevada — but we don’t stop at release.
When a cat is injured, sick, abandoned, displaced, or unsafe outdoors, we rehabilitate instead of returning.
That makes our approach different, intentional, and compassionate.
TNRh reduces suffering, prevents exponential breeding, and gives more cats a chance at safe, healthy lives.
We respond to urgent medical cases, unsafe outdoor colonies, abandoned cats, and critical rural needs.
Our goal is always the same:
Help each cat heal in the way that’s right for them — medically, emotionally, and behaviorally.

We provide supplies, training, medical oversight, and full support so fosters can focus on what matters most:
Giving a cat a safe place to land and time to heal.
Some cats need lifelong sanctuary: seniors, trauma cases, medical needs, feral-born cats who cannot safely return outdoors.
These are Our Purrmanents — cherished residents who will live safely, freely, and loved for the rest of their lives.
