The Reality

Unaltered cats reproduce exponentially.

One female cat and her offspring can produce hundreds — even thousands — of kittens within just a few years under ideal conditions.

Traditional systems respond after intake numbers overwhelm shelters.
That model is financially unsustainable and ethically exhausting.

Our Approach: TNRh

TNRh is a population-level intervention model.

We:

• Trap humanely
• Spay/neuter immediately
• Provide medical stabilization
• Vaccinate
• Rehabilitate when possible
• Return to managed colonies OR transition to adoption pathways

This proactive strategy:

  • Prevents future litters

  • Reduces shelter intake

  • Decreases euthanasia risk

  • Stabilizes community colonies

  • Lowers long-term public cost

  • Improves quality of life for both cats and neighborhoods

Why It Matters Long Term

Population control is not achieved through intake alone.

It is achieved through:

✔ Source reduction
✔ Infrastructure support
✔ Rural outreach
✔ Managed colony oversight
✔ Education
✔ Collaboration

TNRh reduces the exponential growth curve before it becomes a crisis.

It is humane.
It is strategic.
It works.
